More than 450 area business women joined the Women’s Intersport Network for Kansas City (WIN for KC) and the Kansas Women’s Business Center (KWBC) for the first annual Hoops & Heels Happy Hour on Thursday, March 13, 2008. The Municipal Exhibition Hall was turned into party central as cocktails and appetizers were enjoyed, team photos were taken and tons of prizes were given out! There was even a pop-a-shot tournament taking place through all the networking. The women then headed upstairs to catch the semifinals of the Big 12 Conference Women’s Basketball Championship!
